Jest maybe suited for nodejs projects or small libraries without a lot of DOM related testing or with pretty simple DOM testing. It's also slower than karma and it super ugly when you try to setup it for project which use webpack ;) Unfortunately Karma even without proper attention from community and pretty slow evolution in last 4 years still beats jest.
